Mars Area School District's Planet Preschool is a 24-week (November through May) program for children ages 3-5. Cost of the program is $150.00 for the year.
The program is held Tuesday through Friday:
Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
8:55 to 11:40 a.m.
9:15 a.m. to 11:40 p.m.
Planet Preschool is held in conjunction with Mars Area High School's Child Development I and Child Development II curriculum. High school students manage the program and are responsible for planning and implementing lesson plans. Activities often incorporate team-building and leadership skills. The program offers high school students a unique opportunity to work with and be around younger children, which helps the students to decide if they would like to pursue a career in a related field.
