Mars Area School District offers a One-to-One (1:1) Technology Program at Mars Area High School (Grades 9-12),  Mars Area Middle School (7-8), Mars Area Centennial School (5-6), and Mars Area Elementary School (2-4).

The program provides each student with a District-issued device that may be used in school and at home for educational purposes. The initiative supports the schools' curriculum, which has become more technology driven and moved toward electronic textbooks and more computer-based assignments.

More information about this program is available by clicking on the links on the right-hand side of this page.

MASD Technology Policies

District Policy 237 Electronic Devices & Personal Technology Resources clearly outlines policies and procedures regarding the distribution of one-to-one devices; the responsibilities of the students and parents; access to the District’s network; use restrictions; and equipment maintenance. To be eligible to receive a District device, all Mars Area High School students and parents are required to verify that they have read and agree to the guidelines and terms outlined in District Policy 237.
