Welcome to the Elementary School Library!

Students in second, third and fourth grades visit the library once a week for their Library Media Studies class. Throughout the year, students will learn topics categorized in the Location & Access, Information Literacy, Independent Learning, and Digital Citizenship units.  During class time, students will collaborate, come up with innovative ideas, and become independent learners through literature and project based activities. While discovering how the library works and what resources are available, we will read books, use technology, develop research skills, choose books to check out, and practice being good digital citizens! Students may check out new books during class or during designated book exchange times throughout the week.
