In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Mars Area Elementary School will host an Irish Dance Assembly at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 14.

Dancers from Bell School of Irish Dance, including Mars Area School District sophomore McKenna Myler; seventh-grader Meredith Lindsay; sixth-grader Molly Yurisinec; fifth-grader Nora Connolly, Anna Mae Ferrel and Grace Lynch; fourth-grader Mackenzie Schnur; and third-graders Elizabeth Evans, Olivia Evans and Katherine Lynch, will showcase the history of the dance as well as Irish culture.
