Mars Area School District is conducting ImPACT computer-based concussion testing for student-athletes participating in spring sports, Feb. 15-29 at Mars Area High School.
All student-athletes entering Grades 7, 9 and 11 are required to submit to testing as well as any student, who has not received a baseline test in the past. The testing schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, Feb. 15 — Boys Varsity/JV Volleyball & Coed Varsity Track & Field, 4:15 p.m.
- Tuesday, Feb. 20 — Girls Varsity/JV Lacrosse & Boys Varsity/JV Tennis, 2:45 p.m.
- Wednesday, Feb. 21 — Varsity/JV/Ninth Grade Baseball, 2:45 p.m.; Boys Varsity/JV Lacrosse, 4:30 p.m.; Coed Varsity Track & Field, 5:15 p.m.; Varsity/JV Softball, 6 p.m.
- Thursday, Feb. 22 — Coed Seventh/Eighth Grade Track & Field, 3 p.m.
- Tuesday, Feb. 27 — Coed Seventh/Eighth Grade Track & Field, 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, Feb. 28 — Make-up Testing, 2:45 p.m.; Make-up Testing, 4:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Feb. 29 — Girls Seventh/Eighth Grade Volleyball & Seventh/Eighth Grade Softball, 2:45 p.m.
Note: A shuttle bus will be offered for Mars Area Middle School whio are traveling to Mars Area High School for testing. No student is permitted to walk from one building to another.
