Kendall Bruns, Mars Area Centennial School fifth-grader, will host a "Kendall's Ice Cream Social" from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Adams Ridge Clubhouse (100 Adams Ridge Blvd.).

The event will benefit Beverly's Birthdays, a non-profit organization that provides birthday celebrations for homeless children. Festivities will include an ice cream bar, children's activities, prize drawings and more.
