Device Distribution/Collection
In order to receive a District-issued device...
ALL MARS AREA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND/OR A PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST:
- Submit the required $100 Technology Fee. (For payment options, click here.)
- Review and submit a signed District-Issued Student Device Guidelines form (included as an attachment to District Policy 237 Electronic Devices & Personal Technology Resources).
- Review and submit a signed District-Issued Student Device (Grades 9-12) Technology Fee Payments & Distribution/Collection Information form (included as an attachment to District Policy 237 Electronic Devices & Personal Technology Resources).
- Review and submit a signed Computer Networks/Internet Use Student Agreement form (included as an attachment to District Policy 815 Acceptable Use of Internet, Computers and Network Resources).
ELECTRONIC FORM SIGN-OFF - Students and parents/guardians who update their contact and emergency information electronically will have the opportunity to review and sign these forms electronically. Parents/guardians will be provided with information explaining the process for updating their student’s information online prior to the start of the school year. Those students and parents/guardians who DO NOT complete the forms electronically will be required to PRINT, SIGN, DATE and submit both forms at the time of fee payment. Students who do not present a signed form and/or payment will not receive a District-issued device.
Distribution
Students and parent(s)/guardian(s) will be notified of all procedures specific to the distribution of District-issued devices prior to the start of each school year.
Students and parent(s)/guardian(s) will be notified of all procedures specific to the collection of District-issued devices prior to collection at the end of each school year.
