On Sept. 9, 2026, both Mars Area School Board and Mars Area Education Association (MAEA) approved the Fact-Finding Report and Recommendations issued by arbitrator Marc A. Winters in regards to Mars Area School District’s contract negotiations with the MAEA.

 

Mars Area Education Association members also voted in favor of the fact-finding report, which will be incorporated into the new collective bargaining agreement. The final agreement, will need to be signed by the Board and MAEA.
