General Information
Support Positions:
Custodians — Starting pay rate is $17/hour , per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Mars Area School District and Mars Area Education Support Professionals (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2025). Single health benefits offered.
Maintenance — Starting pay rate is $22/hour (Level One) or $24/hour (Level Two), per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Mars Area School District and Mars Area Education Support Professionals (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2025). Single health benefits offered.
Nurse Paraprofessionals* — Starting pay rate is $19/hour as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Mars Area School District and Mars Area Education Support Professionals (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2025). Single health benefits offered.
Paraprofessionals* — Starting pay rate is $17/hour (Level One) or $19/hour (Level Two - those holding a degree and teaching certification) per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Mars Area School District and Mars Area Education Support Professionals (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2025). Single health benefits offered.
Secretaries* — Starting pay rate is $17/hour as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Mars Area School District and Mars Area Education Support Professionals (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2025). Single health benefits offered. Typing and computer skills (Word, Excel) required.
Substitute Support Positions:
ALL SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS — The starting salary rate is $15/hour for day-to-day substitute secretarial and substitute custodial positions and $20 for substitute maintenance positions (unless otherwise noted), as per the agreement between the Mars Area School District and the Mars Area Education Support Professionals, PSEA/NEA (2023-2025).
