Mars Area School District provides a variety of reading support for students in Grades K-4 and additional resources for their parents.

Mars Area Primary Center (Grades K-1)

Mars Area Primary Center offers Title I Reading support for eligible students in kindergarten and first grade. For more information regarding Title I Reading support, contact Mrs. Kelly Bjalobok, Mars Area Primary Center reading specialist, at (724) 625-1588.

Additionally, Mars Area Primary Center offers a Title I Parent Advisory Council (PAC), which is open to parents whose students may benefit from extra support in reading. The group meets twice each year and is led by Mars Area School District's Title I Reading Team.

Mars Area Elementary School (Grades 2-4)

Mars Area Elementary School offers a Reading Lab for students (Grades 2-4) who may need additional help with reading skills and comprehension. The Elementary Reading Lab program is led by the school's reading specialists. For more information, contact Mrs. Katie Misiura, Mars Area Elementary School reading specialist, at (724) 625-3161.
