Reopening of Schools 2020-2021

Mars Area School District has initiated planning for the reopening of schools at the start of the 2020-2021 School Year. The District's hope is to have all students back in the classroom in front of their teachers while, at the same time, prioritizing the health and safety of all students, teachers and staff members.

As the planning process continues, the District's administration will be considering guidance from Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH), the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), and the U.S. Department of Education and will be implementing additional health and safety protocols and procedures, as necessary.

For those parents who are concerned about sending their children back to school, the District is offering students the option of enrolling in Mars Area Cyber Academy.
