Mars Area School District's Technology Department will be onsite for device drop-off and pick-up from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays (beginning March 31), at the District's Administration Office (545 Route 228, Mars). Parents and/or students in need of technical assistance may enter through the Technology Office doors at the rear of the Administration Office (immediately to the right of the stop sign). Signage will be posted.
NOTICE — With the recent technical issues and outages associated with the Schoology learning management system and various online textbook companies, Mars Area School District is aware that repeated, unsuccessful attempts to access online instruction can be frustrating for many of our students and parents/guardians. Please rest assured that, despite these issues, our teachers and staff members are continuing to work tirelessly to present a variety of quality lessons, assignments and resources for their students.
We ask that you please note that these recent technical issues are not associated with Mars Area School District, but are related to the companies that provide the services we are relying upon to connect our students to online instruction. The District has been in contact with our service providers to determine when these issues will be resolved as well as what steps are being taken to prevent similar issues in the future. The District appreciates your continued patience and cooperation as we all continue to adapt to online instruction.
