Mars Area Primary Center will begin accepting completed Kindergarten Registration Packets for the 2022-2023 School Year at the school’s Kindergarten Lottery Registration Day, beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 18, at Mars Area Centennial School.
Note: The selection of AM or PM Kindergarten session is done through a lottery system. Once the maximum class size is reached, the session will be closed and individuals may be placed on a waiting list for their session preference. For the 2022-2023 School Year, AM Kindergarten will be open to a maximum of 125 students.
The Starting Lottery Number is 84. Distributed lottery tickets began with number 1 and a total of 175 tickets were handed out to those parents/guardians who attended the school’s 2022-2023 Kindergarten Registration Packet Distribution (Feb. 24-25). No additional lottery tickets will be distributed.
Lottery tickets matching the student’s name must be presented at the Lottery Registration Day event. The District will only accept completed Kindergarten Registration Packets before registering a student for the preferred session.
While it is not required, parents/guardians attending the Kindergarten Lottery Registration Day are encouraged to wear a face mask and to practice social distancing, where possible.
