Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team will take on the Bethel Park Black Hawks in the first round of the 2022-2023 WPIAL Class 5A Boys Varsity Basketball Championship at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, at North Hills Middle School Annex Gymnasium.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults and must be purchased online at www.gofan.co/wpial. No tickets will be sold at the gate.
- Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the Mars vs. Bethel Park game. No one will be permitted to enter after 6:45 p.m.
- All fans must enter through the doors in the front of the Middle School, to the right of the Main Entrance.
- At the conclusion of the game, all fans will be directed out of the gym and to the left to exit down a set of stairs and out the doors to the parking lot. Those with tickets to the North Hills vs. Kiski Area game at 8 p.m. must also leave the gym and will be directed to a location where tickets will be checked and scanned for entrance into the second game.
- Doors for the North Hills-Kiski Area game will open at 7:30 p.m. or at the conclusion of the first game, once all fans from that game have exited the gym.
The Fightin’ Planets ended the 2022-2023 regular season with an overall record of 14-8 and 6-4 in Section 4-5A.
