Mars Area School District is holding ImPACT computer-based concussion testing for student-athletes participating in fall sports, Aug. 2-18 at Mars Area High School.
All student-athletes entering Grades 7, 9 and 11 are required to submit to testing as well as any student who has not received a baseline test in the past. Schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, Aug. 2 — Varsity/JV Girls Soccer #1, 11:30 a.m.; Varsity/JV Boys Soccer #1, 12:30 p.m.; Varsity/JV Girls Volleyball #1, 1:30 p.m.; Varsity/JV Football #1, 2:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 3 — Varsity/JV Girls Volleyball #2 & Varsity/JV Girls Tennis, 8:30 a.m.; Varsity/JV Girls Soccer #2 & Varsity/JV Girls Golf, 9:15 a.m.; Varsity/JV Boys Soccer #2 & Varsity Coed Cross Country, 10 a.m.; Varsity/JV Football #2 & Varsity/JV Boys Golf, 11 a.m.; Varsity/JV/Competitive Cheerleading #1, 1 p.m.
- Monday, Aug. 8 — Varsity/JV Football #3, 11:15 a.m.; Make-up Testing, 12:15 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 9 — Seventh/Eighth Grade Football #1, 10:15 a.m.; Varsity/JV Football #4, 11:15 a.m.; Make-up Testing, 12:15 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 10 — Seventh/Eighth Grade Football #2, 10:15 a.m.; Varsity/JV/Competitive Cheerleading #2, 11:15 a.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 16 — Eighth Grade Cheerleading #1, 11:15 a.m.; Seventh/Eighth Grade Girls Soccer #1, noon; Seventh/Eighth Grade Boys Soccer #1, 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 17 — Eighth Grade Cheerleading #2, 10 a.m.; Seventh/Eighth Grade Girls Soccer #2 & Seventh/Eighth Grade Boys Soccer #2, 11 a.m.; Seventh/Eighth Grade Coed Cross Country #1, noon
- Thursday, Aug. 18 — Seventh/Eighth Grade Coed Cross Country #2, 9:30 a.m.; Make-up Testing, 10:30 a.m.
