Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team will take on the Blackhawk Cougars in the final game of the 2021 WPIAL Class 2A Girls Varsity Lacrosse Championship at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, at Robert Morris University.

The Fightin’ Planets trounced the Hampton Talbots 16-13 in the WPIAL semifinals on May 24; and beat the Aquinas Academy Crusaders 19-5 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on May 20. The team ended the regular season with an overall record of 16-0 and 8-0 in section play, earning the 2021 Section 2-2A title.
