Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Baseball Team will take on the Franklin Regional Panthers in the quarterfinals of the 2021 WPIAL Class 5A Boys Varsity Baseball Championship at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 21, at North Allegheny Senior High School.

The Fightin’ Planets thrashed the Gateway Gators 4-3 in the first round of the WPIAL Playoffs on May 19. The team ended the regular season with an overall record of 9-3 and 12-6 in Section 2-5A play.
