Mars Area School District will hold ImPACT Baseline computer-based concussion testing for student-athletes participating in winter sports.
All student-athletes entering Grades 7, 9 & 11 are required to submit to testing as well as any student who has not received a baseline test in the past. Schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, Nov. 23 — Boys Varsity/JV Basketball, 4 p.m.; Boys Ninth Grade Basketball and Coed Varsity Swimming & Diving, 5 p.m.; Girls Varsity/JV Basketball and Varsity Wrestling, 6 p.m.;
- Tuesday, Nov. 30 — Seventh/Eighth Grade Wrestling, 2:45 p.m.;
- Boys Seventh/Eighth Grade Basketball, 3:45 p.m.; Girls Seventh/Eighth Grade Basketball, 4:45 p.m.
Student-athletes are asked to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Testing will be administered and supervised by the District’s athletic trainers and will be held in the schools’ respective computer labs.
