Mars Area High School Student Council will be holding a “Cookies for a Cause” fundraiser every Saturday through Sept. 7 to benefit veterans living at St. John Specialty Care Center.

Cookies will be available for purchase at the weekly Mars Farmers Market, held from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday in the parking lot of Woodland Valley Church (Mars). Jenna Sutton, incoming Mars Area High School senior and Student Council member, is organizing the annual fundraiser.
