Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team will take on the Hampton Talbots in the final game of the 2019 WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 24, at Robert Morris University.

The Fightin’ Planets swatted the Freeport Yellowjackets 19-5 in the WPIAL semifinals on May 20 and tamed the Franklin Regional Panthers 16-1 in the quarterfinals on May 16. The team ended the regular season with an overall record of 15-3 and 8-0 in section play, earning the 2019 Section 1-2A title.
