Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Baseball Team will take on the West Allegheny Indians in the quarterfinals of the 2019 WPIAL Class 5A Boys Varsity Baseball Championship at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, at Burkett Field (McKees Rocks, Pa.).

The Fightin’ Planets shut out the Fox Chapel Foxes 5-0 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on May 16. The team ended the regular season with an overall record of 10-8 and 5-5 in Section 2-5A play.
