Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team will take on the Freeport Yellowjackets in the semifinals of the 2019 WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 20, at Fox Chapel Area High School.

The Fightin’ Planets tamed the Franklin Regional Panthers 16-1 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on May 16. The team ended the regular season with an overall record of 15-3 and 8-0 in section play, earning the 2019 Section 1-2A title.
