Mars Area Centennial School will hold its annual Student Talent Show from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, March 29, in the gymnasium.
Sixth-graders Ellie Koma and Isabella Yoshioka will serve as emcees; fifth-grader Cora Huffman as stage manager; and Mars Area High School junior Michael Crowley as music coordinator.
Fifth-graders Riley Carrel, Aubree Machi, Marina Missos and Kiara Van Wyk; fifth-graders Corinne Sprague and Riana Palm; sixth-grader Arianna Bruno; and fifth-graders Maggie Fitzgerald and Rebecca Hockman, will perform dance routines. Sixth-grader Faith Gibbs; sixth-graders Mya Lee and Gianna Mannella; sixth-grader Addison Nailler; fifth-grader Charlie Coker; sixth-grader Kara Sims; fifth-grader A.J. Horrocks; and sixth-graders Hannah Nemetz and Maggie Suppo, will offer vocal performances.
Sixth-grader Isabella Yoshioka, fifth-grader Carter Snyder, fifth-grader Lacey Kern; fifth-grader Aidan Krepin; sixth-grader Andrew Snyder, will perform on piano; and sixth-graders Susanna Tomkovicz and Lyra Whitcroft will offer a piano and flute duet.
Fifth-grader Lenny Splane and sixth-grader Michael Grabowski will perform on drums; sixth-grader Grace Zatezalo on ukulele; and fifth-grader Caroline Martin on violin. Sixth-grader Caleb Halenda (along with senior Jenna Halenda and music teacher Simon Neubert) will offer a violin performance; fifth-grader Sydney Denk, a tae kwon do demonstration; and the group of sixth-graders Jenna Baumgartel, Sarah Maloney and Alvin Tsao and fifth-graders Thomas Dressen, Matthew Fenio and Olivia Miller will present a jump rope demonstration.
