Mars Area School District will hold ImPACT Baseline Testing, computer-based concussion testing, for student-athletes participating in winter sports, Nov. 19-27 in the schools’ respective computer labs.
All student-athletes entering seventh, ninth and 11th grades are required to submit to testing as well as any student who has not received a baseline test in the past. Schedule is as follows:
- Monday, Nov. 19 — Coed Varsity Swimming & Diving, 3 p.m.; Boys Varsity/JV Basketball, 4 p.m.; Boys 9th Grade Basketball, Girls Varsity/JV Basketball & Boys Varsity Wrestling, 5 p.m.;
- Tuesday, Nov. 20 — Boys 7th/8th Grade Wrestling, 3 p.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 27 — Girls 7th/8th Grade Basketball, 3 p.m.; Boys 7th/8th Grade Basketball, 4:15 p.m.
Student-athletes are asked to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Testing will be administered and supervised by the District’s athletic trainers.
