Mars Area High School will now present Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, and Sunday, Nov. 18, in the auditorium.
Note: Because of today's school closure and the continued inclement weather, tonight's event was cancelled and has been rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 18. Tickets purchased in advance will be accepted at either Saturday or Sunday night's performance.
The story, adapted for the stage by Charlotte Chorpenning, follows Alice (Anna Schauble), a young girl who tumbles down a mysterious rabbit hole. She finds herself in a strange land, where she joins the White Rabbit (Ethan Skinner), Caterpillar (Madison Moan), the Mad Hatter (Giovanni Mori) and many other familiar characters in a mission to rescue the Knave of Hearts (Jessie Sines) from the clutches of the evil Red Queen (Teressa Wesley).
Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door. (There is no reserved seating.) A portion of the proceeds benefits Mars Planet Foundation.
