The District participates in the National School Lunch Program, which offers discounted or free meals to eligible families. Applications for the program are available online at www.marsk12.org and at www.compass.state.pa.us. All children approved for free or reduced-price meals the previous year are automatically eligible for the first 30 days of the next school year. (Note: Mars Area High School and Mars Area Middle School do not participate in the National School Lunch Program; however, eligible students in Grades 7-12 may still apply for discounted or free meals. An application specific to the High School/Middle School program is available at www.marsk12.org.)
